i have been meaning to blog for days now, but something always ALWAYS crops up. i havnt been SURVIVING on $50 a month. FUCKED
Also, there are so many asses whose birthdays are coming up. sammy boy. Tomorrow. HZ. Tuesday. screwwit. both are turning 21 this year so i gotta get them a HUGE prezzie. Talk about money management. I have like... $50 in the whole wide world.
oh yeah, mom struck 4D. So did my grandfather, grandmother, uncle. Wow. Talk about united. Amounts unknown, but i guess its a shit load of cash.
been missing my baby already.. And some stuff she says really sticks to me and u know... makes me all warn n fuzzy inside. like how she wants count our anniversaries by years, when she says she misses me... and also when we talk n crap.
we are both tired.. thanks to dear fyp. also, we are finishing for it soon.. i gotta do the Final report for da FYP. a whole whopping kick ass 50 pages of it. all right!! gotta submit it all by the 28th. of july. hoo yeah.
been thinking of alot of little things too.. i know dear, i think too much.. but i cant help it.. its my nature. its about something that can probably get my sorry butt into jail.
first spin-off! the Long concluded Elections!
(in relation to marketing)
first off.. we all know dear PAP won. in fact, im kinda proud. talking about PAP, it seems that my great grandfather (on moms side) help found PAP with Minister Mentor Lee KY. nice and all and in fact, i respect that political party. its really impressive that from a dot on the world map, we are internationally known. Also, PAP welcomes healthy competition... but are they getting any?
sad to say, many of the other parties are... sadly.. in my view, found wanting. time to apply marketing skills in this. first off! Lets see, no pun intended, but i have this friend of mine in class who is a fanatical supporter of chiam see tong. he even has that guys picture on his laptop.. now that i think of it... that seems... disturbing.
the way other parties market themselves and show their side of the story is poor. Imagine this comparison. PAP holds rallies, meets residents, takes pictures with babies and has the most active coverage in this country. We see more people in white shirts that others standing in front of the imperial banner of the workers union. ave imperialis~
Other unions seem to have grassroots leadership too.. and... somehow i cant seem to see the effort put into their campaigns. sure, there’s the usual yada yada about rallies and such too... but less people flock to them. i also see people from their unions handing out newspapers in underground tunnels trying to undermine the PAP. Headlines like: "THE PAP ARE LYING TO THE PEOPLE!" or "YOU ARE BEING LIED TO" are commonly blasted away. make no mistake, im no PAP lover, but im takin this from an objective point of view. okay.. see, PAP has a track record in Singapore. look at the country. also, how many people will believe if there is no substantial evidence of anything being done. have no mistake, there are things that the government will NEVER tell its people, and its all for the sake of the people. i understand even if there’s a certain degree of taint and corruption, but hey, which government can be 100% free of taint? there is no use attacking its reputation.
Look, Singapore is a nice country, i know, i have been to other countries before, lived there and came here. hence the wide broadside of experience helps in judgment. also, members of other unions tend to do sometimes, embarrassing things, like shouting from a moving lorry. yes, i think almost everyone has seen it before. and they shout out in mandarin. MANDARIN. Means you only intend to thank the Chinese residents?
What about the other ethic races? What’s wrong with them? Ok all right. I have my biased side too.. but I don’t show it that obviously.. also, you are trying for a position in parliament. It never hurts to show a good example to the rest of the people.
Ah yes, dressing counts too. People like a confident and charismatic leader, but I don’t see that element being featured in the aspiring wannabe leaders. Sadly, they lost even before they started.
Wow. Blogged a lot. Goodness. I think I shall stop here for now..
